For the highest precision and range up to 1000 meters
These sensors are cost-effective, especially long term, with no need for maintenance or readjustment. Radar sensors can see through dust, dirt, steam, and weather conditions and you'll never have to clean them. They're also quite forgiving with sensor alignment, especially at shorter ranges. They're easy to install and once they are, there are few reasons to ever touch them again. The original Kymati sensors are still running in the field since 2005.
There's no interference with Wi-Fi, mobile communication networks, or electric arc furnaces. Multiple units can also operate in parallel using different channels.
Data is sent using UDP over Ethernet. You can read the sensor status from either unit in the sensor pair and even send additional data across the link. The sensor can interface directly with a PLC or you can use a converter for your desired protocol. We're able to select and configure one for you if desired. For relay output applications such as crane anti-collision, there is a separate controller to give the output signals. We can supply this in an enclosure with interposing relays for your application.
Units can have power wired discretely or use Power over Ethernet (PoE). We can supply simple power/network enclosures and preconfigure the sensors or converters so you just have to mount everything and integrate with the data/relay outputs.
